Hey! My name is Meredith, I'm a recent graduate from N.C. State University with a degree in environmental science and a concentration in English. I began this blog in January, 2013, as a class assignment, but I enjoyed the book blogosphere so much that I decided to keep it up.
Like so many others in their early twenties, I'm a professional procrastinator. And that procrastinating time is usually spent watching movies, TV shows, or, you guessed it, reading. Reading is a passion of mine, and although I may not be the most eloquent reviewer out there, I know what I like and I try to be as candid and honest as possible in my reviews without giving too much away.
I usually reach for books that are young adult lit, mystery, and the occasional classic among many other genres. I'm not too picky about which books I decide to read, just as long as it's a good story I'm down to give it a go. Also, I try to review the books I read within a few days after finishing them so they're fresh on my mind and all of my reviews are spoiler free unless otherwise stated.
Umm what else... I'm a massive nerd and I'm currently looking for a job that will sustain my book buying addiction. I suffer from long periods of reading slumps, but thankfully they don't happen too often, I love pasta, I consider myself a realist (not a pessimist), my favorite color is purple, and I actually do love long walks on the beach, believe it or not.
